Terms of Service for Homefront Match
These terms are a mutual promise between you and Homefront Match. We agree to run a safe, verified military dating site built for serious relationships. You agree to show up here as your real self, treat every member with respect, and follow a small set of rules that keep this community worthy of the men and women who serve.
Accepting These Terms
By creating a profile on Homefront Match, browsing matches, or sending a single message, you agree to everything written on this page. If you do not agree, please do not register - and if you change your mind later, you can close your account at any time from the settings menu.
We may update these terms when the law changes, when we add a new feature, or when we find a clearer way to explain something. If a change is material, we will email every active member at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use after that date counts as acceptance.
Using Homefront Match means you have read these terms, you are who you say you are, and you are here in good faith to meet someone for a real relationship.
Who Can Join Our Community
Homefront Match is an adults-only platform built for civilian women who admire military men, and for service members, veterans and military pilots seeking a serious relationship. To register, you must meet three simple conditions.
At Least 18 Years Old
You must be of legal age in your country of residence. We verify date of birth against the photo ID submitted during the verification step.
Single & Serious
You are single, separated, divorced or widowed - and you are here to find a real partner, not a hookup or a pen-pal arrangement that goes nowhere.
Honest About Who You Are
Your name, photos, age, location and relationship intent must be accurate. No catfishing, no stolen photos, no pretending to serve when you do not.
How We Expect You to Behave
The members here are nurses, teachers, soldiers, sailors and veterans. They came to Homefront Match because the rest of the internet was not kind. Help us keep this place different.
- Treat every member with respect. Disagree without insulting. Decline a match without ghosting. A simple "thank you, but no thank you" goes a long way.
- Be honest in every message. Do not exaggerate your rank, your deployment, your marital status or your intentions.
- No harassment, threats or hate speech. Repeated unwanted contact, slurs, or aggressive language earn an immediate suspension.
- No commercial solicitation. Homefront Match is not a place to recruit clients, promote a business, sell a service, or ask for money - ever.
- Report what feels wrong. If a profile asks for money, sends a suspicious link, or copies someone else's photos, use the Report button. We respond within 24 hours.
Content That Is Not Allowed
We review every photo and every message that gets reported. The following content is removed on sight, and posting it puts your account at immediate risk.
Explicit Imagery
Nudity, sexually explicit photos, or suggestive content of any kind. Homefront Match is family-friendly by design - keep profile photos tasteful.
Scams & Money Requests
Wire transfers, gift cards, crypto, "emergency deployment fees" - anyone asking for money on this platform is a scammer. Period.
Impersonation
Stolen photos, fake names, fictional ranks, or profiles claiming to be someone they are not. We use reverse-image scanning every day.
Hate Speech & Violence
Racist, sexist, homophobic, or threatening language. Glorification of violence. Content that mocks service or sacrifice.
Minors in Any Form
No content involving anyone under 18. No profiles created on behalf of a minor. This is the one rule with zero second chances.
OPSEC Violations
Sharing classified information, unit movements, deployment dates or base security details. Protect your match and yourself.
Profile Verification and Authenticity
Every new profile is reviewed by a real person within 48 hours. We run reverse-image scans against publicly available databases to catch stolen photos, and we cross-check submitted ID against the name and date of birth provided at registration. Service members may optionally verify their status through a .mil email address or a redacted DD-214 - this earns the Verified Hero badge displayed on the profile.
The Verified Hero badge is granted only after a manual review of military status. We never store DD-214 documents, .mil emails are confirmed and discarded, and the badge can be revoked if a profile is later flagged for fraud. Civilian members receive a separate Verified Profile checkmark after photo ID review.
Verification is the floor, not the ceiling. Even with these checks, we ask every member to read our Safety Tips page before sending money, sharing personal documents, or meeting in person.
What We Are and Are Not Responsible For
Homefront Match is a platform - we provide the tools, the verification layer, and the community guidelines that make safe matchmaking possible. We are responsible for keeping the site secure, processing data lawfully, honoring refunds within 14 days, and acting on every report within 24 hours.
We are not responsible for the personal decisions our members make off-platform - who you meet in person, what you share in a private message, or how a relationship unfolds after the first hello. We do not guarantee that a member is the perfect match, and we do not insure against heartbreak. That part of the story belongs to you.
Suspending or Closing an Account
We may suspend or remove an account for any of the following reasons:
- Confirmed scam activity, money requests, or romance fraud.
- Stolen photos, impersonation, or false military claims.
- Repeated harassment, threats, or hate speech against another member.
- Commercial solicitation, recruitment, or off-platform sales pitches.
- Three or more substantiated reports within a 30-day window.
- Sharing classified information or violating basic OPSEC guidance.
You can also close your own account at any time from Settings → Account → Close My Profile. We process closure requests within 72 hours and delete personal data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention. If you ever wish to come back, you are welcome here.
Intellectual Property and Your Content
The Homefront Match name, logo, written content, design system, source code and database are owned by Homefront Match and protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, scrape, or republish this material without written permission.
The photos, bio text and messages you upload remain yours. By posting them, you grant Homefront Match a limited, royalty-free license to display them inside the platform so other verified members can find you. That license ends the moment you close your account.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through our support team will first proceed to good-faith mediation, and then, if needed, to binding arbitration in Wilmington, Delaware, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You retain the right to bring small-claims actions in your local jurisdiction.
