Christmas in Ponca was celebrated on Wednesday, November 30th. The evening started with a Christmas Parade at 6 pm. Twenty plus entries of all sorts were decorated with lights & proceeded through downtown Ponca. Santa Claus was brought to Santa’s Village by Danny Lund’s team of horses & wagon and was on hand for pictures at the Community Center. Hotdogs & all the fixins were provided to the parade goers along with hot chocolate & cookies. Kids had the opportunity to make a craft & decorate cookies. The Ponca Area Community Club would like to thank the community for helping make this year’s Christmas in Ponca – A Community Celebration a huge success!
